Today, I have just passed my endocrinology exam. Due to some diet miscalculations, the examiner gave me a 4@5, and asked me to do a report regarding insulin pump to obtain 5!! Alhamdulillah.. =)
The General Election's results are still being the big chit-chat of nearly all local offices and mamak stalls. PRU12: History Encrypted. For it shows how we Malaysians do have the power to speak out our thoughts. And yes, the local mass media are just sooooo discriminative. Thumbs up to all bloggers who dare scribble for justice!!

Saya juga melihat ia sebagai perjuangan sebuah keluarga untuk menegakkan hak dan keadilan yang lama sudah diekspoitasi oleh pihak-pihak tidak bertanggungjawab. Yes, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Dr Wan Azizah, and Nurul Izzah. They deserve this win..and I pray that everything'd be smooth sailing for them. Allah Ta'ala nampak dan tahu apa yang orang lain tak nampak dan tak tahu. Alhamdulillah =)

Adat Merisik is a pre-engagement ceremony where the groom's delegation visit the bride's home to ask for the bride's hand in marriage. A 'merisik' ring/'cincin merisik' (normally being the 'cincin belah rotan') would be handed by the parents of the groom to the parents of the bride. Andainya cincin diterima dan disimpan, bermakna pihak perempuan bersetuju menerima pinangan tersebut. Ketika ini jugalah keluarga di kedua-dua belah pihak berkesempatan untuk berkenalan secara lebih dekat, dan beramah mesra. Lazimnya tarikh pertunangan akan ditetapkan pada saat ini. Si dara dan teruna juga tidak semestinya perlu ada ketika itu seandainya mereka sedang belajar atau bekerja di perantauan.
Haaaa...dah tau dah ape tu adat merisik? Saye pun baru paham sebenarnye..hehehe.
